Getting the app
LullaRoute is free to download from the App Store on iPhone. There is no account to create and no email to give us. Open it and plan a drive.
The routing, Just drive, Discover, saved drives and the nap log are all in the free app. LullaRoute+ is an optional extra ($9.99 a year, or $24.99$49.99 once: the founding-member price through November 30, then $49.99) and adds trips to a destination timed to the nap, up to three stops on the way, and family sharing.
Reporting a route problem
Report the route from inside the app, either on the route preview or during the drive. Tap the flag and describe what was wrong. This sends us the exact trip so we can run it back through the routing engine and see what it did. Every report is replayed by hand. Some lead to a fix within a day or two; others are harder and take longer.
Events, reminders and sharing
Discover lists family events nearby, such as library storytimes and museum mornings, from the venues’ own calendars. Tap Save to keep an event under the You tab. If you set a reminder, your phone notifies you between an hour and a day before the event starts, and tapping the notification opens the event again.
Share sends a link that the other parent can open on any phone, with the details and a map. If LullaRoute is installed, the link opens in the app instead. Shared links stop working after about a week.
Saved drives and turns to avoid
When a loop works, save it from the preview. It appears under the You tab, and one tap replays exactly that circuit, with no planning and no signal needed, because the whole route is already on your phone.
The same tab is where you set turns to avoid. Tap “Avoid a turn on the map”, centre the map on the junction you would rather not turn at, and choose the turns to skip. Routes planned after that avoid those turns where possible. If a route still uses one, the route preview says so.
