Joining the beta
LullaRoute is in TestFlight while we get it ready for the App Store. Leave your name and email and the install link comes back straight away — there is no queue and nothing to approve. Open it on your iPhone and it goes to the install page directly: no invite code, nothing to wait for.
You need Apple’s free TestFlight app as well, which takes about a minute.
A route felt wrong?
Report it from inside the app, either on the route preview or in the middle of the drive. Tap the flag and say what was off. That sends us the actual trip so we can run it back through the routing engine and see what it did. Every report gets replayed by hand. Some turn into a fix in a day or two; some are harder and take longer.
Events, reminders and sharing
Discover lists what’s on nearby for families — library storytimes, museum mornings — read from the venues’ own calendars. Tap Save and an event waits for you under the You tab. Set a reminder and your phone tells you a few hours before it starts, and tapping that notification opens the event again.
Share sends a link the other parent can open on any phone, with the details and a map. If they have LullaRoute installed it opens in the app instead. Shared links stop working after about a week.
Saved drives and turns to avoid
When a loop works, save it from the preview. It appears under the You tab, and one tap replays exactly that circuit — no planning, and no signal needed, because the whole route is already on your phone.
The same tab is where you ban a turn. Tap “Avoid a turn on the map”, centre the map on the junction you would rather not turn at, and pick the movements to skip. Every route planned after that goes around it.
Common questions
Why does my trip take longer than the fastest route?
Because you asked it to. Going around a light or a bad left usually costs a minute or two. The preview shows the fastest route’s numbers next to yours every time, so you can always take the quick one when the child is awake anyway.
Why is there no voice guidance?
A voice announcing your next turn is exactly what wakes a sleeping baby. You get a large turn banner and two vibrations instead, one early and one close. The vibrations can be turned off in Settings.
Does it work without cell signal?
Once a drive is planned, yes. The turn banner and the vibrations run on your phone, so losing signal mid-drive won’t cut off your guidance. Planning a new trip, or rerouting after you miss a turn, needs a connection.
Where does LullaRoute work?
All of the United States and Canada. The map data comes from OpenStreetMap.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. LullaRoute is iPhone only for now, on iOS 18 or newer.
